With the change in the winds it feel like a few hints of spring coming and the "work" part of the crop year will be here soon. Weather forcasts still call for a cool and wet spring, Where possible it is beneficial to check the cold germination precentages. This may make a few decisions for seeding populations or selection of seed lot of the varieties you are planting. This will get you as good jump out of the ground and a stable plant population. Next will come management of seedlings as they will be affected. Keep an eye on the soil temp and an adequate seed treatment.
